Tom,
I discovered that if I make a change to a G code program in the KMotionCNC window, that change is automatically saved. I don't have to click on the save or save as button.
It shouldn't do this, should it?

Hi Michael,
That isn't really a bug. Right or wrong that was the way it was designed. Running GCode or Switching to another GCode file automatically saves any changes that were made to the original file. If you don't want changes made to the original you might immediately save it to a new file or set read-only on the original file properties.
